When do the Rates Change?
A.
Tamiami Village is on a
fiscal year starting May 1st and ending April 30th.
The new rate schedule starts on May 15th.

Are Monthly Maintenance Fees Mandatory?
A.
Yes, fees are mandatory
and paid on a monthly basis.
ACH service is available for those who would like to have it.
· Q. What is the trash schedule? A. Routine trash is picked up on Tuesday and Friday. Recycle items (cans & bottles) are picked up on Tuesday. Horticulture is picked up on Thursday. Newspapers and cardboard is picked up on Friday. Items may be placed at curbside after 6:00 p.m. the night before pick up. They are not to exceed 40 pounds per bag.

How long does it take to complete background checks and complete
the Estopple paperwork?
A.
Fourteen days for non
certificate holders and Fifteen days for certificate holders.
Every effort is made to complete all of the required paperwork as
soon as possible.

Q.
Am I required to pay rent or land use fees for recreational or
other commonly used facilities? If so, how much am I obligated to pay
annually?
A.
Your monthly maintenance fees covers the use of commonly used
facilities. There may be
additional charges if you wish to reserve one of the Halls for your
exclusive use.

Q.
Do I have to be a member in any other association?
If so, what is the name of the association and what are my voting
rights in this association?
If so, how much am I obligated to pay annually?
A. There are not other
associations you have to join.
· Q. Are “Application for Residency Forms” required even if a person rents for one month? A. Yes, for all first time rental quests staying in the Village. Return rental guests do not have to have background checks done after the first one is completed. The Application Fee is $100 and is non-refundable.
· Q. Does the office handle rentals and sales? A. The Association does not have a licensed Real Estate Broker on staff so all referrals are sent to Palm City Brokers at 239-995-8100. Homes cannot be rented for less than 30 days.
