At no time will I board pets for others.
I understand that dogs and cats must have current shots and tags.
If management receives three (3) written complaints proving the

remove the pet from the community within ten (10) days after receiving
written notice from the management.
I also agree that if management has sent me more than two (2) notices

All
Tamiami Village Residents
On a regular basis, the
number one complaint filed with the office is in regards to pets.
Each of you are in receipt of the current Rules & Regulation for
Tamiami Village. Quoting from
the Rules & Regulations: “No curbing (potty) is permitted except on the resident’s own property.”
The resident is responsible
for any clean up. Dogs and cats
are not allowed at the pool or recreational areas.
Repeated complaints about barking dogs or pets which are nuisances or
create unsanitary conditions will be considered cause for the animal to be
removed from the Community. The
following criteria must be followed:
1.
Pre-registered
with the office
2.
Current
license
3.
Proof of
vaccination/shots
To emphasize – your animals
should not be going to the bathroom on ANY property other than your own.
This means also they should not be going to the bathroom in the
street. In addition, all common
areas are labeled as “NO PET” areas.
We have many volunteers who faithfully work on the landscaping areas
along with our employees and they should not have to be working in areas
where pet owners have allowed their pets to go to the bathroom.
Several owners are letting
their cats outside at night. If
animals are allowed out by themselves and another resident confines that
animal, animal control may be called.
This will cause your animal to be taken away and you will only
retrieve it at your own expense.
This park allows residents
to have animals. It is the
owner’s responsibility to follow the rules associated with animal ownership
in a rules regulated Community.
Pet owners, when
approached, often reply that the person complaining is a non pet lover.
The office has never received a complaint that did not involve a pet
owner not accepting the
responsibility associated with pet ownership.
For issues related to
“wild” animals, please call Animal Control directly at 432-2083.
Hopefully, if all pet
owners accept the responsibility of pet ownership and all non pet owners
respect the right of the pet owners to have a pet, everyone’s needs can be
met and the complaints will cease.
Thanking all of you, in
advance, for your anticipated cooperation.
